The Hill conducts first worship service.
Scott Armstrong, pastor of The Hill, a new church plant  in New Hudson MI, said "God showed up at their first worship service."  Over 50 were in attendance with great music and the gospel preached.  The Hill will be conducting monthly worship services until September when they will move to a weekly schedule.

Oakland Woods Return From Annual Mission Trip
A mission team from OWBC traveled to Breezy Point MN. for a week of servanthood.  The group was one of several churches this summer helping the members of Eagle's Nest Baptist Church build their first building.  Mark Patton, church planter, was thrilled at the progress.  Their new building on 5 acres, will conduct their first public service in their new building this September.

Prayer walking
Our next prayer walking event for the summer will be in Pontiac in the neighborhood around Pontiac Northern High School in support of Shepperd's Fold Baptist church.  John Smith in the church planter of this 1 year old congregation.  The church is currently meeting in the high school and we will meet in the parking lot.  This be on  Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 A.M.  For more information, call Bob Galey at (248) 625-7557

Oakland County Baptist Association Picnic.
On Sunday, July 26 from 3 to 8 P.M. the association will have their annual picnic at Oakland Woods Baptist Church.  The association has invited the OCAOEC to their Sunday afternoon of family fun.  There will be an outdoor concert, inflatables for the kids, volleyball, softball, horseshoes, and much more.  Everybody is encouraged to bring a dish to pass and enjoy the day to include an outdoor evening worship service in the park at 6 P.M.
